Celtic Colours 2019
Day 1 – Wednesday October 16th, 2019
Your guide will meet you at stops between Halifax and the Canso Causeway and travel directly to the concert. Check in to your accommodations for your four night stay.
Day 2 – Thursday October 17th, 2019
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your hotel before departing at 8:30 am for a tour of the Cabot Trail. The Cabot Trail is Nova Scotia's iconic road trip, a 300 kilometre journey along coastlines, through picturesque fishing villages, traversing through the mountains of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Join your group for dinner before travelling for the evening concert. Optional: Festival Club at the Gaelic College after the show.
Day 3 – Friday October 18th, 2019
Breakfast at the hotel before enjoying a day on your own to explore the village of Baddeck. Take part in the many Celtic Colours workshops and demonstrations during the day or just enjoy the day visiting the shops and restaurants that line the main street. The AG Graham Museum is a must-see in Baddeck and a sail on the Amoeba across the Bras D'Or lakes is a relaxing way to spend the afternoon before the evening show.
Day 4 – Saturday October 19th, 2019
After breakfast, travel to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site to experience life in a reconstructed 16th Century fortress. Visit downtown Sydney for some sightseeing and dinner before attending the Grand Finale of Celtic Colours 2019.
Day 5 – Sunday October 20th, 2019
Breakfast before checking out of hotel. Return transportation to Halifax.
