Nova Scotia’s history of spreading good cheer dates back to 1606 when famed explorer, Samuel de Champlain, established “L’ordre de Bon Temps” to provide good food and good times, keeping up the health and morale of the colonists through the harsh winters. In this spirit, we offer a tour designed to toast the long lineage of quality food and drink producers on the island. Leave the car keys behind while you enjoy lunch at a local eatery, enjoy craft beer and wine tastings on the banks of the Bras d’Or Lakes, and finish with a tour, sample, and full dinner at Glenora Distillery – Cape Breton’s only single malt whiskey distillery.
