Your trip starts with a warm welcome and transfer to picturesque Baddeck on Cape Breton Island, close to the festival venues. Days are filled with community events celebrating Cape Breton heritage—meet locals, watch craft demos, join hands‑on Celtic arts workshops, and explore lively rural communities. Evenings feature nightly Celtic Colours performances: world‑class musicians and dancers in intimate venues, offering memorable, toe‑tapping concerts. We handle all logistics so you can enjoy the festival. Transportation to events is provided. Daily breakfast and dinners feature Cape Breton cuisine. Free time lets you explore the island and discover hidden gems.

Deposit required of $500 (4 night tour) or $1,000 (9 night tour) with balance due August 31st, 2026. Bookings made after this date require full payment.
*Cancellation Policy for this tour: Deposit is refundable up to balance due date of August 31st. After this date, the deposit amount is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be prorated based on number of days of notice of cancellation.

Meet your guide in Halifax to begin the journey to Cape Breton Island. Guides will begin the pick up at Downtown Halifax area hotels at 9 am and be at the Halifax Airport area by 10 am.
After a lunch stop in the Town of Antigonish, you will check-in to your accommodation in Baddeck for the next four nights. Baddeck is a charming village on the Bras d’Or Lakes and a central location for your stay in Cape Breton.
We depart Baddeck for dinner and then our first night’s Celtic Colours performance.

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart for the day’s activities. Activities may include participating in a step-dance or spoon workshop, a visit to local attractions, or more. After an evening dinner, we attend our second evening of Celtic Colours performances.
If you are up for it, join us for the Festival Club after the show at the Gaelic College in St. Ann’s.

After breakfast, explore Baddeck on your own for the day. Visit the waterfront area, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, or the local craft festivals in the village. Guides will be available for transportation.
We meet back up with the group in the evening for dinner before attending our third Celtic Colours show.

No trip to Cape Breton is complete without a trip around the Cabot Trail! The Cabot Trail is Cape Breton’s most visited attraction and is a 300 km (185 mile) scenic driving route. After completing the drive, we stop for dinner and make our way to this evening’s performance.

After breakfast, meet your guide for the return trip to Halifax. Guests can expect to arrive at the Airport by 12 pm and arrive Downtown Halifax by 1:30 pm.
